Mavericks waive Sean Williams; more news coming?

"The Mavericks have placed backup big man Sean Williams on waivers, reducing their roster to 14 players and suggesting that they have a target in mind to replace him. Numerous players have been waived this week, and as long as those players clear waivers by Friday, they are eligible to be on the playoff roster of whatever new team might sign them. Boris Diaw , Andres Nocioni and Jason Kapono are among the players still looking for jobs after being waived."
