Thibodeau Denies Concern Over Contract

"The Bulls have had barely a sniff of controversy this season, but that harmony could be threatened.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Friday evening that coach Tom Thibodeau is "dismayed" by the lack of progress on a contract extension and that "his displeasure with the situation is an open secret in team circles."
That jibes with what team sources said: Thibodeau has raised the topic — his lack of an extension — with Bulls players.
Thibodeau denied that after the 83-71 victory over the Pistons, saying: "I don't know where that's coming from. I'm not worried about any of that stuff. I'm under contract. I'm fine with everything here."
Thibodeau is in no danger of leaving Chicago any time soon, given that the second-year coach signed a two-year deal with a team option. So the Bulls control him through the 2012-13 season.
Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf told the Tribune via email in February: "Tom does a great job with this team, and you see the results of his hard work every time the players take the court. We certainly hope and expect that Tom will be with the Bulls well beyond his current contract. However, there is nothing to announce at this time.""
